From disaster recovery in Lāhainā to flood relief on O'ahu, we organize everyday people to protect Hawai'i's communities, environment, and future — together.
As Hurricane Lala made landfall across the islands, our teams once again deployed to support impacted communities — from emergency supply distribution to home protection support. With another storm potentially on the way, our organizers are coordinating across islands to meet the need in real time.
Earlier this year, our teams responded to the devastating Kona Low flooding across West Maui, Molokaʻi, and the North Shore and West Oʻahu. That rapid response — built on years of Lāhainā fire recovery work — is what positioned us to move fast now.
Any contribution large or small supports our efforts to provide relief to families in need. Donations will go towards supplies that can help with critical power and connectivity resources, flooding relief, immediate supplies like potable water and replacement for damaged goods, labor and contracting with relief experts, and more.

The Our Hawai'i Foundation was formed in the wake of the 2023 Lāhainā wildfires, when our movement recognized the urgent need for a charitable arm to sustain long-term disaster recovery and community building work.
We are the 501(c)(3) partner of Our Hawai'i Action, one of Hawai'i's most effective organizing and advocacy operations. Together, we combine the capacity for rapid grassroots mobilization with the infrastructure for sustained charitable investment in Hawai'i's communities.
Our board and staff bring together decades of experience in community organizing, nonprofit management, environmental stewardship, and public policy — all rooted in deep love for these islands and the people who call them home.
